Netflix has stopped supporting apps for enthusiasts of the Meta Quest headset. The dedicated app has disappeared from the store, but users probably won’t miss it.
End of development of the Meta Quest application
Netflix has dropped support for popular VR goggles. The dedicated app has disappeared from the store. Netflix is not very enthusiastic about any kind of headsets, that’s obvious. It is primarily interested in being present on platforms. Goggles and VR enthusiasts are a rather small group, hence Netflix’s decision to stop developing the app for Meta Quest goggles.

Meta Quest goggles are considered the most affordable product of this type on the market. It was for its users that Netflix developed the aforementioned application a few years ago. But it wasn’t anything great, it had a lot of gaps, and the quality of the downloaded materials wasn’t very high.
Suffice it to say that the resolution of streaming content was limited to 480p because the tool was not properly updated with subsequent versions of the goggles.
Users probably won’t miss her. Just look at the comments, which were not flattering. Users pretty much only complained about her.
