Navitel R99 4K: a dashcam perfect for highway speeds
Navitel has launched a new Navitel R99 4K video recorder with STARVIS optics, a 3.18-inch touchscreen display, GPS and Wi-Fi modules. The device is already available in selected stores.
Navitel introduces a new model of video recorder R99 4K with optical sensor Sony IMX415 and a lens (f/1.75) consisting of seven layers of glass and infrared filter. As the manufacturer assures, this design makes recordings legible regardless of lighting conditions. Field of view 140° provides a wide view of not only the roadway, but also its surroundings – the roadside and sidewalk.
Navitel R99 4K: for highways and off-road
The video recorder records videos in resolution 4K 3840 x 2160 at 30 fpsbut you can also choose the mode Quad HD (2K) at 60 fps or Full HD with a record even at 120 frames per second. Navitel explains that these modes will work great at high motorway speedsas well as when off-road driving.
On board the Navitel R99 4K there is GPS module with speed camera notification mode and a digital speedometer function and Wi-Fi for communication with a smartphone app. The 3.18-inch color touchscreen makes it easy to view the recorded image and operate it.
The video recorder supports memory cards up to 256 GB. Recording is continuous, and unprotected files are automatically deleted. The sensors also include a G-sensor, thanks to which the recorder blocks recordings from being deleted during dangerous road incidents, placing them in a protected folder. The sensitivity of the G-sensor can be adjusted to the driver’s driving style and road conditions to avoid false alarms.
The new Navitel recorder is equipped with supercapacitorthat can withstand extreme temperature fluctuations and does not overheat. Additionally, it is resistant to power failures, which eliminates the risk of video loss caused by a sudden power outage.
Navitel R99 4K also watches over when stationary in parking mode after connecting the Navitel SMART BOX MAX device. Thanks to the included USB-C / USB-A car charger, you can simultaneously power the recorder and charge your smartphone.
The camera is attached to the windshield using 3M tape. power supplied in the holder.
