More and more machines in Lidl stores. You will get money out of them

Of course it can't be anything. These machines accept plastic bottles (PET) for water and drinks, as well as juice and milk cartons with capacities from 300 ml to 3 liters. Packaging they cannot be creased and must have a label with legible product barcode. This way you can dispose of recyclable waste and save a few pennies.

If the bottle or carton is in good enough condition and the weight of the packaging is correct (i.e. it is empty), the machine will accept it and crush it properly so that it takes up less space. You will get 5 cents for each package you bring to the store. There is only one catch: it won't be cash, but a voucher for your next shopping at Lidl. You can get a 5 cents discount for every PLN 2 you spend.

The machines are already in 53 Lidl stores in Poland. The largest number went to Poznań – as many as 19 of them. Częstochowa has already received 5 “bottle machines”, Warsaw has 4, Lublin has 3, and Białystok and Wrocław one each. The next ones were erected in the following towns: Baranowo, Baranów, Biała Podlaska, Bolechowo, Gogolin, Kłobuck, Komorniki, Luboń, Namysłów, Nowy Tomyśl, Plewiska, Radzymin, Skórzewo, Stęszew, Suchy Las, Stary Konik, Swarzędz, Syców, Zalasewo and Zamość.

Bottle dispensers are very popular. In December, we informed that the Poles had received the goods vouchers worth a total of PLN 100,000 in exchange for 2 million bottles. It's quite an achievement because At that time, there were only 23 vending machines in Poland.

Other networks also set up similar machines. This is part of the preparations for the introduction of new regulations regarding packaging processing. From January 1, 2025, the deposit system will come into force in Poland. Shops with an area of ​​over 200 square meters will be obliged to accept certain plastic, glass and metal containers with a capacity of up to 3 liters.
