He is already using the mObywatel application over 11 million users and as the Minister of Digitization Krzysztof Gawkowski argues, thanks to today’s innovation, each of them will know how respond appropriately in unusual situations.

The in-app security guide is digital equivalent official government materials that Poles received in paper version via mail. Thanks to the fact that its digital version is now available in mObywatel, safety information is always at hand.

We have sent over 16 million copies to homes all over Poland. However, in today’s digital world, in addition to the printed version, it also had to be available in an interactive and digital version. And here there is no better tool than the mObywatel application

The safety guide is a guide to dealing with unusual situations. It may be the need to call appropriate servicesbut also to prepare for periodic power outages or to act promptly after hearing alarm sirens.

Digital Security Guide in mObywatel

Application users will find the Guide in the list of services in the Security category. It is divided into five subpages:

  • Safety rules – a space with information on how to behave in a crisis situation and avoid actions that may expose yourself and your loved ones to danger.
  • Evacuation backpack – here users will find tips on what should be included in such a backpack. Completing it is made easier by the list available there, where you can check off the collected items. The application also allows you to generate a list in the form of a PDF file.
  • Alarm signals – in the tab you can listen to individual signals and find out what they mean.
  • SOS numbers – tips on which services to contact for help in a specific case. After selecting Call, the user will be immediately transferred to the calling application on the phone.
  • Disturbing situations – a place where the user can read about events that should be reported to the appropriate services (e.g. photographing military facilities with drones).
