Microsoft Teams without annoying politics. Changes are coming for the better
Microsoft is making changes to its Teams policy. And very well.
I can’t be the only one who is irritated by the current one Microsoft’s policy regarding Teams messenger. First, the manufacturer provides two separate applications, one for individual customers and the other for enterprises. Secondly, logging in to different accounts is cumbersome, the only sensible way to do it is to additionally use the browser version. I think everyone would agree that Microsoft’s approach is far from convenient for customers. Fortunately, everything indicates that changes for the better are coming.
No more two Teams apps?
Users Windows Insider program noticed that the latest version 26080.1100 (KB5037133) has made some changes to the Teams application. Above all we are dealing with one applicationallowing users to seamlessly switch between multiple account types, both individual and work.
In the official Microsoft blog post, we can read that the changes are dictated by constant requests from users. Joining meetings it will be much more convenient. Instead of logging in, just click “join” and a window will appear to select the account from which you want to join the meeting. Notifications have also been changed and will be marked appropriately, so that the customer will have no doubts about which account they come from.
When you log in to two accounts at the same time, two icons will also appear on the taskbar. As Microsoft argues, users have made it clear that they prefer to operate on multiple windows at the same time.
