Microsoft surprises. You can repair these devices extremely easily

In the case of a laptop, removing the battery is quick and convenient – only requires removing the legs and the bottom cover. This is a big change from previous generations, where the battery was hidden under other elements. Changing the SSD is also very simple, but the RAM memory is soldered in.

Surprisingly, it looks even better in the case of a tablet – here, you don’t even need a screwdriver to change the SSD. Just remove the plastic cap. However, for obvious reasons, getting to the battery takes a bit more time. For the sake of balance, however Replacing the matrix is easier than in other tablets.

It’s a big and nice change, because many service technicians still curse the first devices from the Microsoft Surface family, which were not easy to repair. Websites such as iFixit once rated them as one of the worst on the market in this respect. Apparently Microsoft has learned from this.
