Manufacturers are turning away from AMD. NVIDIA is in first place
It's official – the largest computer equipment manufacturers consciously choose NVIDIA GeForce RTX systems. AMD fans will have to make do with leftovers.
There are three manufacturers on the graphics card market – AMD, NVIDIA and Intel. However, people closely following the new technologies market have certainly noticed that few new models have been available in stores for some time Radeons. It looks as if the producers were not interested in the Reds' offer.
Most gamers choose NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards
The situation is particularly clear in the case of one of the largest companies – MSI. The Taiwanese have still not released their proprietary Radeon RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT, and the remaining models are few in number and are starting to disappear from stores. This is not at all due to high demand.
The Taiwanese commented on this matter to the German editorial office of Hardwareluxx. MSI is currently focusing on NVIDIA GeForce systems. However, the manufacturer does not completely write off AMD, and the cooperation between both companies is strong. However, MSI pays attention to motherboards with an AM5 socket for Ryzen processors.
And what does it look like in numbers? MSI currently offers 147 proprietary NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4000 models and only 4 AMD Radeon RX 7000 systems. The situation is not much better for the rest of the big players. In ASUS this ratio is 100 to 19, and in GIGABYTE it is 86 to 12.
It is unlikely that this situation will change. According to previous rumors, architecture-based graphics cards AMD RDNA4 they won't target the high performance segment. Therefore, there is no point in counting on an increase in the popularity of Radeons. And it already looks bad – as many as 78% of players choose the NVIDIA system.
