macOS Sequoia. Check if it will work on your computer
Apple announced changes that will appear in the new edition of macOS 15, Sequoia. We also know for which computers it will be available.
List of compatible Apple computers
macOS Sequoia will be able to be installed on computers even from 2017. However, before you start updating, it is worth making sure that your model is on the supported list. The year of production does not correspond to the technical possibilities. On list so you won't find a 13-inch MacBook Air Retina 2018.
The new macOS will be able to be installed on computers:

- MacBook Pro 2019 – 13, 15 and 16 inches,
- MacBook Pro 2020 – 13 inches,
- MacBook Pro 2021 – 14 and 16 inches,
- MacBook Pro 2022 – 13 inches,
- MacBook Pro 2023 – 14 and 16 inches,
- MacBook Air 2020,
- MacBook Air 2022,
- MacBook Air 2023,
- MacBook Air 2024 – 13 and 15 inches,
- iMac Retina 5K 2019,
- iMac Retina 4K 2019,
- iMac Retina 5K 2020,
- iMac 2021,
- iMac 2023,
- iMac Pro 2017,
- Mac Pro 2019,
- Mac Pro 2023,
- Mac Studio 2022,
- Mac Studio 2023,
- Mac mini 2018,
- Mac mini 2020,
- Mac mini 2023.
Additionally, when updating, please remember that Apple Intelligence in Apple systems requires Apple Silicon processors (M1 and up) in Macs and iPads and A17 Pro in iPhones.
New wallpapers are now available
macOS Sequoia has already been made available to developers, thanks to which we get to know its features that Apple did not mention during the opening presentation of the Apple WWDC 2024 conference. Wallpapers that will accompany the new release also appeared on the Internet immediately.

The public test version of macOS Sequoia will be released in July, and the stable version will be available to users in September.
