Lenovo is preparing a new console. It will be cheaper

Were you planning on buying a console? It’s worth the wait. Lenovo is preparing a new model with some significant improvements and a lower price.

There is no denying that devices such as Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck reawakened the handheld market. Especially the latter, which proved that at a low price you can offer a console capable of running AAA titles known from PC.

Lenovo Legion Go Lite is expected to have a smaller screen

Soon after, other devices joined this group – ASUS ROG Ally, MSI Claw Whether Lenovo Legion Go. Not to mention many smaller Chinese manufacturers. However, it looks like Lenovo is preparing to refresh its offer. However, there is no talk of the next generation, but a cheaper system.

ASUS recently released a refreshed ROG Ally X console, while MSI is preparing to launch a model with a processor Intel Lunar Lake. Only Lenovo is missing from this group. However, VideoCardz found information on the manufacturer’s website suggesting that the Chinese are planning to release a version Legion Go Lite.

It will be equipped with smaller screen – 7 instead of 8.8 inches; will get an HDMI port and cooling system with two fans, not one. Unfortunately, the rest of the specifications are a secret. However, to keep the price low, it seems natural to use AMD Ryzen Z1 (6R/12W, up to 4.9 GHz)instead of Ryzen Z1 Extreme (8R/12W, up to 5.1 GHz). The AMD Strix Point generation is supposed to hit laptops first.

We should find out more this year.. Lenovo has already hinted at plans to refresh the lineup many times. However, the release date has not been revealed, only saying that “the console will appear when it’s ready”.
