InWin D5, an airy case with a hidden hanger
InWin has prepared a new computer case for people who care about low temperatures, solid workmanship and the ability to hang headphones.
Both in the case of a gaming and work computer, the most important components in terms of performance are the processor, graphics card and RAM modules. Of course, you should not ignore the remaining elements, i.e. the motherboard, data carrier, power supply or housing.
InWin valued its new housing at approximately PLN 565
Today we will focus on the last of these groups, because the well-known Taiwanese manufacturer has expanded its portfolio. InWin prepared a roomy and airy casing with retractable headphone hanger. It was also designed for ASUS and MSI motherboards with hidden connectors.
InWin D5 is a housing with dimensions of 473 x 220 x 494 millimeters and a weight of 8.3 kilograms. It is made of SECC steel, plastics and tempered glass. Inside we will install the motherboards in the format EATX, ATX, Micro ATX or Mini ITX; tower CPU coolers up to 165 millimeters high and graphics cards no longer than 365 millimeters. There are two 3.5″ and two 2.5″ places for data carriers.
In terms of ventilation, there will be up to seven fans here. Three 140- or 120-mm ones at the front, the same set at the top and one smaller one at the back. From the factory we get one InWin Neptune AN120 unit with ARGB LED backlight and a full set of dust filters.
The I/O panel is located at the top, closer to the right edge. It is equipped with one USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type C, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A, a Combo audio connector and a switch.
The described housing has already hit the first stores. The suggested price of InWin D5 in Europe is set at EUR 129.99, i.e. equivalent to approximately PLN 565.
