Intel, ESL and Acer are strengthening their cooperation. It’s about CS and Dota 2
The leading manufacturer on the computer hardware market proves that it knows e-sports. Acer extends and expands its cooperation with Intel and ESL FACEIT Group.
ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) and Intel today announced the extension and expansion of cooperation with the company Acer. As the exclusive original equipment manufacturer (OEM), the Predator gaming brand will support the EFG competition Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 in 2024.
Acer Predator will be present in Katowice at IEM 2024
Intel and EFG have been partners in esports for over 20 years. By hosting the world’s leading esports event that it is Intel Extreme Masters, together they promote and support a passionate global gaming community. Acer also shares the vision for e-sports.
What can we expect in the future? As part of the collaboration, Predator has become the exclusive OEM partner for more EFG competitions in Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 than before. Their list includes:
- Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) 2024 events in Chengdu, China, Dallas, United States, and Cologne, Germany, as well as IEM Fall;
- ESL Pro League Season 19 and Season 20;
- ESL Challenger competitions in Jönköping, Sweden, Atlanta, United States, Katowice, Poland, and a yet-to-be-announced location;
- DreamLeague Season 21, 22 and 23 online;
- ESL One competitions in 2024, including ESL One Birmingham and ESL One Asia.
Acer and EFG will present the latest Intel gaming technologies, including: laptops from the Predator Helios 16, Predator Helios 18, Predator Helios Neo series and Predator Orion series desktop computers – both during online and offline events.
As part of the cooperation, Predator will also offer fans a stand where players will be able to familiarize themselves with the latest generation of games. The next e-sports event in which Acer Predator will take part will be IEM 2024organised on February 8-11 in Katowice.
