Intel ARC Battlemage graphics cards are on their way
Intel is working hard on new graphics cards for desktops and laptops. ARC Battlemage chips are already shipping.
All fans of new technologies are well aware that AMD and NVIDIA are preparing to launch their next-generation graphics cards. This year, the Reds will serve us a series Radeon RX 8000and the Greens the family GeForce RTX 5000. But Intel also wants to refresh its offer.
Flagship GPU could be up to 23% bigger than a generation ago
The Blues’ new graphics cards will be named Intel ARC Battlemage. However, the Americans are very secretive about any details. Officially, nothing has been said about the specifications, performance or release date. All information so far is rumors and leaks.
And it so happens that in Chinese and Indian transport documents, systems with markings were found “BMG G21” and “BMG-X3” pointing to new Intel graphics cards. These are models equipped with 32 and 28 Intel Xe cores2so probably 512 and 448 execution units.

In addition, it looks like the chip BMG-G31 is a BGA 3283 solutioni.e. with 3283 pins, which would suggest that will power flagship graphics cards. For comparison, in the previous generation, the ACM-G10 chip powering the ARC A770 and A750 models had “only” 2,660 pins.

Importantly, the fact that the described systems are being transported does not mean that their premiere is imminent. They can only be moved from one Intel research facility to another – there are a lot of them all over the world, including in Poland. When to expect the debut? It’s hard to say. Earlier, one of Intel’s employees mentioned the term “before black friday” (November 29), but many sources indicate early 2025.
