Poles love BLIK. The Polish payment system records increasingly better results every year, and this is no surprise. This is a very convenient mechanism that allows you to quickly pay for your purchases. However, payments are not everything. BLIK also allows you to make transfers, the biggest advantage of which is that they are instant, even between different banks. This is where ING Bank Śląski is introducing the long-awaited change, as reported by Cashless.pl.

ING changes BLIK transfers

ING customers could use BLIK and make transfers to family or friends. However, this came with some limitations. ING allowed a maximum of PLN 500 to be transferred this way at a time. The daily limit was PLN 1,000. In many cases, this was burdensome because it made it impossible to make larger transfers, and even those with medium amounts had to be divided into two.

Fortunately, ING has come to its senses and is introducing the long-awaited changes. From now on, the limits for BLIK transfers are PLN 1,000 at a time and PLN 2,000 per day. The changes apply to both individual customers and entrepreneurs. Additionally, the bank is also introducing changes to BLIK transfer requests. Here you can send a maximum of 30 messages per day, and the maximum total amount is PLN 1,000.

The last change is the possibility of changing the limits for BLIK transfers. By default, they are set at the previous level, i.e. PLN 500 one-time and PLN 1,000 per day, but now they can be either increased or decreased. Until now, this was not possible.
