How to stream your Xbox games to Discord in one click

Like every month, Microsoft updates its Xbox and PC systems and offers new features and optimizations. In September, it is now possible to stream games directly on the Discord service.

After arriving with great fanfare on Xbox last year, the Discord service offers a new feature expected on the Microsoft console. Starting now, Xbox players will be able to streamer their games with their friends on Discord.

Microsoft also announced several other updates for its system as well as a small overhaul for the Xbox application on PC.

For how to show your skills to your contacts on Discord, you should link the application to your Xbox account if you have not already done so. You can do this in different ways: via the mobile application, desktop or directly via your console.

Once the two services are connected, press the Xbox key to open the guide, then select the “Groups and conversations” category and finally click on “Discord”. You will be able to access your different Discord servers and broadcast your gameplay in the voice room of your choice.

The Xbox app for PC gets a makeover

Microsoft took advantage of the end of summer and the release of Starfield to update the Xbox app for Windows. On the program, an appreciable performance gain, particularly when loading the store and your library. The application has undergone a discreet facelift on its interface and its animations as well as its installation options, which now allow greater latitude on default installation folders and automatic updates.

The library now displays a category “ Play later » to drop off all the games that are gathering dust in your backlog. You will also have access to new filters to differentiate between the games you own and those that come from your Game Pass subscription.

All these updates tested during the summer by members of the program Xbox Insider are now available to all Xbox and PC users.
