Today, the official trailer and graphics announcing the second season of HALO appeared on SkyShowtime channels. The first two episodes of the new season will be available on Friday, February 9, exclusively on SkyShowtime.

In the second season, Master Chief John-117 (Pablo Schreiber) leads his elite squad of Spartans into battle against a cosmic threat called the Covenant. After the shocking events on the desolate planet, John can’t help but feel that the tide of this war will soon change. He risks everything to prove what no one else wants to believe – that the Alliance is preparing to attack humanity’s greatest stronghold. With the galaxy teetering on the brink, John embarks on a journey to find the key to humanity’s salvation or its ultimate destruction: Halo.

Created by showrunner and executive producer David Wiener (Brave New World), HALO takes place in the universe known from the original HALO game for Xbox in 2001.
