He will fold the laundry, make dinner and clean up. No unnecessary talk
He will make dinner, clean up after it, and fold the laundry taken out of the dryer. Without unnecessary asking and without whining. Sounds like a fairy tale?

There is no denying that most of us would be delighted with this type of help in our own home. Perhaps one day we will see a time when this type of robot will become part of our everyday life.
Multifunctional robots are Jeff Bezos’ latest investment. The billionaire invested $400 billion in a startup that creates software for this type of devices.
Many companies are working on robots that could perform a number of various tasks for us, e.g. measuring ingredients in restaurants. Startup Physical Intelligence has a similar goal. I want to create a model of a multifunctional robot for general purpose. One of the videos published on the X platform shows a robot pulling laundry out of the dryer. Then, the robot spreads them on the table for assembly.
At Physical Intelligence (π) our mission is to bring general-purpose AI into the physical world.
We’re excited to show the first step towards this mission – our first generalist model π₀ 🧠 🤖

Other tasks that a robot would perform tabout cleaning up after meals, sorting garbage, separating dishes and cutlery from garbage. Robots can also fold cardboard boxes and put objects into them. To do all this, the model must first learn to perform many small tasks.
Instead of grabbing each item one at a time, the model can stack dishes on top of each other to then place them together in a container, or remove trash from plates into the trash before placing them in the container.
– says Physical Intelligence in a press release.
The company realizes that it has a lot of work ahead of it, but the satisfaction from small successes is enormous. “We have a long way to go,” the startup said.
Currently, many technology companies are investing in robotics. Tesla is developing a humanoid robot, and Meta recently announced work on examining tactile perception in the hands of robots. OpenAI and Microsoft also invested in another startup dealing with robots.
