He got a package from Temu. He couldn’t believe his eyes
A Reddit user shared his story about shopping through the popular Temu app. He did some shopping there, but what came in the package left him quite astonished.
It must be admitted that the buyer did not expect this. He claims that when he received the parcel, he received a letter and an unusual gift. Of course, he couldn’t find the product he ordered. And although it is a human story and we cannot fully examine its authenticity, it is worth mentioning this type of story, because we know of parcels with sand instead of shoes or with strange creatures that fell into the parcel during the packing process.
Here, the ordering party claims that attached letter was in English and its content, the seller thanked you for the purchase and reassured you that the ordered items would arrive, but in a separate shipment. However, this shipment was sent intentionally to encourage the buyer to suggest improvements to this transaction. There was a metal one attached to the letter spoon.
If this is a scam, it must be admittedly very strange. Perhaps this is also a system bypass, the seller did not want the order to be canceled, so he sent something to avoid a lower rating resulting from failure to deliver the shipment on time.
And even if it’s just a fake, it draws attention to an important aspect of this type of shopping – Online shopping on Chinese platforms does not guarantee 100% security. And it’s worth knowing, because according to the latest data, every third Pole shops there.
