Do you have a surprisingly high electricity bill forecast? Don’t hesitate for a moment to ask for an invoice correction. A resident of Zielona Góra found out how important it is when he received an invoice for the exorbitant amount of PLN 21,000.

We have already written about this electricity bills in Poland may increase by up to 50%, and we must be prepared for price increases, but no one expected such a scenario. A resident of Zielona Góra got it electricity bill of PLN 21,000. But that’s not the end of the shocking news. The forecasts for the following months were also high.
You faint when you see such a bill (…) My wife and I paid because we didn’t have time to explain the situation, even though it seemed illogical. Our son had a difficult operation then, and we had not seen the rest of the world. That’s why we paid for electricity as much as they told us so that they wouldn’t cut off the power in our house (..) My wife and I do not agree with such settlements. We also do not agree that a State Treasury company should be merciless towards citizens. This is a state within a state. This is unbelievable to me.

The energy company Enea promised to correct its settlements. But what Mr. Tomasz was stressed about was his. No wonder, anyone who saw such a bill would be shocked and upset. It was a bill for his private house, which, interestingly, was adapted in every way to save on electricity bills (photovoltaics, heat recovery, fireplace heating with a water jacket).
Fortunately, this whole matter has a happy ending and the situation has been clarified. Enea explained what the problem was and will correct the invoice.
When changing the contract related to the installation of micro-installations, the tariff group was incorrectly assigned. From that moment on, settlements were carried out using the G11 tariff, instead of the G12 tariff. We apologize to our client for the situation
