HBO is preparing a bomb series. 10 episodes may not be enough
Rooster, premiering on March 8, 2026 on HBO Max
Steve Caroll is the kind of actor who not only evokes warm feelings, but also brings a smile to the viewer’s face. Anyone who has watched “The Office”, “Loves, Likes, Respects” or “The Forty-Year-Old Virgin” knows exactly what I’m talking about. The trailer of the new title takes us from “The Office” straight to the university and once again encourages us to have a nice time. There is only one sad news, it is not known whether 10 episodes will not be enough.
The production is the work of Lawrence and Matt Tarses, who took care of everything most important – the script and executive production. Interestingly, Steve Carell not only plays the main role here, but is also one of the producers. The creators promise a lot of emotions and humor, which is why many people will reach for this series with great pleasure, but also with expectations. At least those for spending a nice time watching a movie with family or friends.
Rooster – what the series is about
“Welcome to campus, Mr. Russo.” The action of the series takes us straight to a university campus. We know that no one will make our lives as difficult as those closest to us. Such is the case here, Russo (called Rooster by the students) is a middle-aged lecturer and writer. However, not everything in life goes as planned, accidents keep piling up, and in addition, the hero struggles with a complicated relationship with his own daughter (Charly Clive).
“Rooster” series premiere will take place on March 8, 2026 on HBO Max, subsequent episodes (10 of them) will appear every week.
