MSI admitted that GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super graphics cards from the Ventus and Gaming series were delivered to users in a version that did not reflect their full potential. After discovering the problem, the research and development team quickly began working on an update that would eliminate the problems.
Therefore, the company has released a new BIOS version, marked as 95.03.45.40.F0. Although independent tests show a small difference in performance, it is still visible. However, that’s a few extra frames per second for free, so it’s worth upgrading your cards. The problem affected the following models:
- GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super 16G Ventus 3X
- GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super 16G Ventus 3X OC
- GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super 16G Gaming X Slim
- GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super 16G Gaming X Slim OC
- GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super 16G Ventus X2
You can download the new BIOS version directly from the manufacturer’s website. The update itself is not particularly complicated and anyone should be able to handle it without any problems.
