Google gave up. When you update your smartphone, you lose Wi-Fi and Bluetooth

Faulty Pixel update

These problems concern all Pixel series smartphones that received the January update. So we’re talking about every currently supported model. They prevent the use of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Thus, they condemn users to mobile data transmission and cut them off from wireless headphones. And when it comes to wired ones, remember that they will only be supported if they offer a USB-C connector or we have an appropriate adapter.

Moreover, no way to solve the problems was found. Neither restarting nor factory reset is the solution here. It is also worth adding that the lack of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are only the most common problems.

Some users report that the search function in the settings menu does not work, they do not have access to network options, the battery discharges too quickly, and some of them have stopped working. This shows that it is not worth rushing to update devices. Instead, it’s worth waiting for potential reports of update issues.
