Google Docs now with Imagen 3
Imagen 3 is a very advanced image generation model developed by DeepMind, the AI division of Google. Thanks to integration with the Gemini platform, the capabilities of Imagen 3 have been included in a number of Google services, and the latest place for their use is Google Docs.
The new function is available in the menu: Insert > Image > Help me create an image. The user has complete freedom in choosing the proportions and size of the image, and the graphics are generated based on the description we enter. We have a choice several styles: photo, vector graphics, sketch, watercolor, cyberpunk, as well as random mode “surprise me”.

Such goodies only in a paid package
Users of the free version of Google services will unfortunately not have access to this new feature. One of the monthly fee packages is required. It is worth recalling that Google Pixel 9th generation smartphones come with a free annual plan with Gemini and 2 TB of Google cloud storage.
Image generation in Google Docs will be rolled out gradually over the coming weeks to users around the world. Until then, subscribers can generate graphics within Gemini Chat using the same Imagen 3 model.
