One of the most well-known and respected informants in the industry – MEGAsizeGPU – provided the exact dimensions of the GB202 system. The GPU itself is to be 24 × 31 mm, which translates into a total of 744 mm2. The entire structure is to be 63 × 65 mm, i.e. 3528 mm2. For comparison, AD102, which was used in the RTX 4090 card, was 609 mm2 and 2601 mm2. Thus, GB202 will be 22 and 35 percent. bigger than its predecessor.

In terms of specifications, the GeForce RTX 5090 will not use the full GB202 core. This one will be slightly reduced and will probably offer 21,760 CUDA units. There will also be 32 GB of GDDR7 28 Gbps memory on a 512-bit bus, which will translate into a bandwidth of 1,792 GB/s. Reports also indicate that the card will have a higher TBP around 600 W.
