Frog has a plan. A chain of stores with a flat logo wants to introduce its own payment card. It would allow you to make purchases on credit.

Żabka wants to have its own payment card – reports Cashless.pl. This would allow customers to make purchases on credit, but not only in online stores with a green logo. The card would work in all terminals, but would have low limits. We are talking about purchases for no more than PLN 1,000.

The project is currently at a very early stage. Żabka is currently looking for an institution that would like to cooperate with the network in the form of a lender. The company will take into account both banks and non-bank lending companies. The shape of the service will largely depend on the choice of partner.
While working on developing convenient solutions for customers, we analyze many possibilities, including the card you mention. However, it is currently too early for us to provide details about the possible introduction of this type of service in our network.

This would not be Żabka’s first contact with financial services. The store previously cooperated with BNP Paribas. At Żabka branches it was possible to order a card and open an account.
