Shot on iPhone - kolejny pokaz możliwości Apple iPhone 15 Pro

For video recording only iPhone. You won’t believe it’s from a phone

Apple is returning to its “Shot on iPhone” marketing series, showcasing photos and videos taken with the company’s smartphones. This time, we get an entire short film that makes a stunning impression.

It’s hard to believe that all this is from the Apple iPhone 15 Pro

The creators used the following materials for the recordings: Cinematic modewith quick focus changes on individual subjects and the extended dynamic range of ProRes modes allowing you to record sharp, colorful movies even in very difficult lighting conditions. This was achieved by using from sports modewhere you can count on spectacular image stabilization even when using optical zoom.

A surprising number of scenes were simply done “hand-held”and not, as in many such mobile productions, on complicated gimbals and photographic cages with additional lenses and filters attached. Apple did not attach lenses, but gimbals can sometimes be seen in the extensive additional material from the production plan.

Apple does not hide the fact that it used additional software and hardware in some scenes, some of the sound was recorded in the studio, and for example, a special case was used for underwater scenes. In addition, there is professional editing, of course on Mac computers.

It is not the case, however, that having a professional camera, we will make a well-made handheld film – the principles are exactly the same, you need a lot of additional equipment and I am far from seeing any cheating here. On the contrary, we observe overcoming new boundaries and great self-confidence — Apple didn’t release another bland video where the scenes are perfectly lit, but an exceptionally dark short film.

What is this actually about?

“¡Suerte!” is a visually stunning short film directed by acclaimed director Fernanda Valadez. It tells a moving, cinematic story set against the backdrop of colorful Mexico, showing intricate details and vibrant colors that highlight the advanced technology of iPhone 15 Pro.

In the second film, “The Making of ¡Suerte!”, viewers have the opportunity to see behind the scenes of making a short film. Valadez and her team discuss the innovative techniques and unique challenges they faced while shooting the film entirely on iPhone 15 Pro:
