The producer of the world-famous game Fortnite has announced major changes in the game’s availability on Samsung and Apple devices.

According to Epic Games’ announcement, Fortnite is already it will soon disappear from the Samsung store, but may appear on the iPhone via AltStore.

Fortnite has been unavailable on iPhones in the European Union for an extended period of time due to a legal dispute with the device manufacturer, Apple. The solution that will certainly please players in Europe is to be an alternative to AppStore, i.e. a store AltStore. The store is available in the European Union.

Epic Games to Leave Samsung Galaxy Store due to the inability to install applications without having to use a dedicated store (so-called “sideloading”). According to the game producer, such bans are “anti-competitive actions”. At the same time as the announcement of leaving the Samsung store, The company announced that it would appear in at least two other app stores available for Android. However, it did not provide the names of the stores or a time frame for implementing the app there.

Changes in Fortnite’s availability on specific devices and operating systems are the result of a change in company policy. Epic Games wants to disappear from app stores that charge high commissions, while not ensuring fair conditions for all producers.
