Elon Musk sells alcohol. Only, at this price it’s not worth drinking
We associate Tesla primarily with electric cars. However, a new product has recently appeared in the brand’s offer, and although it is much cheaper than a car, it is still expensive.
Elon Musk likes to surprise with his decisions. There are many examples, but the most obvious include the original Cybertruck car design, the purchase of Twitter, or the sale of a flamethrower. Now we can add alcohol to this list.
Tesla sells alcohol
Tesla introduced alcohol to the market, specifically a bottle of mezcal, which is made from agave plants. The elegant, black, lightning-shaped bottle is made of blown glass. Its appearance draws inspiration from the pottery region of Oaxaca in Mexico. Mezcal Tesla was valued at $450, or approximately PLN 1,815 (at the current exchange rate).
According to the description, the alcohol has a citrus flavor with notes of lime, green apple and a smoky finish. Despite the high price, the alcohol sold out immediately. Buying a bottle is currently not possible unless you decide to overpay significantly for it. There are already offers for $5,000 on eBay.
Interestingly, this is not the first alcohol in Tesla’s offer. Previously, the company introduced CyberBeers beer, which cost $150 in a set with two ceramic mugs, and Tesla Tequila, which cost $250 for 750 ml.
