“Dune 3” already has a trailer. The epic finale of the sci-fi trilogy is impressive
“Duna 3” sets the bar very high
The first trailer for “Dune: Episode Three” has just been released online and all signs in heaven and on earth indicate that it will be very popular. The epic spectacle once again makes a great impression. What’s more, we meet a completely changed Paul Atreides (Timothee Chalamet) and his enemy Scytale, played by Robert Pattinson. Timothee Chalamet can therefore breathe a sigh of relief, this year’s Oscar did not go to him, although he was the favorite, but “Dune” will certainly allow him to “redeem” and shake off any sadness (if he felt any).
It’s safe to say that the third part of the film “Dune” is practically doomed to success. After enjoying parts one and two so much, the film doesn’t really have a choice. It must be of a high standard and impress both with its cast and the scale of the entire production. If we add the sublime music of Hans Zimmer, we have a total work. The upcoming sci-fi epic has also been confirmed to be an adaptation of Frank Herbert’s book “Dune Messiah.”
The trailer does what it needs to do. It provides emotions and shows the scale of production, emphasizing what is most important. Paul Atreides’ transformation is impressive. His enemy, played by Robert Pattinson, also appears in the material. Next to him we will see, among others: Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Florence Pugh, Anya Taylor-Joy and Rebecca Ferguson.
“Dune 3” – what will it be about?
Denis Villeneuve assures that this installment “will be different from all the others”, it will take viewers to unknown corners of Arrakis and other planets. The action will make a time jump and will move forward by as much as 17 years. This is a deliberate attempt to show the consequences of concentrating too much power in the hands of one man. What will come of this? We will find out at the end of the year, in December.
“Dune” appeared on the big screen for the first time in 2021, three years later, “Dune: Part Two” hit theaters. The third part, concluding the entire trilogy, was announced for December 2026.
