In August this year, processors debuted on the market AMD Ryzen 9000and at the beginning of November the first representative of the family appeared Ryzen 9000X3D. The common feature of these systems is, among others: new, more efficient architecture Zen5 and socket usage AM5.

And although you can still use motherboards released during the series AMD Ryzen 7000 in 2022, many manufacturers will release new, improved and more advanced platforms. One of them is Chinese Colorfulwho refreshed his “cat proposal”.
Colorfire B650M Meow is a format motherboard Micro ATXwhich is equipped with a 15-phase power supply section (up to 55 A) with factory heat sinks. On the white laminate we will find four additional banks for RAM memory DDR5 (up to 192 GB and 7600 MT/s)reinforced PCI Express 5.0 x16regular PCIe 4.0 x16 and PCIe 4.0 x1. For data carriers provided two M.2 PCIe 5.0 x4 connectors and four SATA III.
In the case of the network controller and audio codec, not much was revealed. It’s just about the solution Realtek 2.5Gbps7.1 sound and Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. The I/O panel offers four USB 2.0, two USB 3.2 Gen 1, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 type A and C, RJ-45, HDMI and DisplayPort. The icing on the cake is the unique, orange UEFI with cat accents. It allows for full PC management, including extensive third-party liability insurance.
Colorfire B650M Meow is now available in foreign stores at a suggested price of $195 (approximately PLN 805). Unfortunately, nothing is known about distribution and suggested prices in Poland yet. However, AMD and/or Cat fans should have no problem purchasing this motherboard on platforms such as AliExpress.
