Modern computer monitors offer a wealth of options. Not all of them are always available at the start or work perfectly. This is where the new firmware comes in handy.

The new software is now available for download
It so happens that today a software update was released for gaming monitors with an OLED matrix. It applies to higher positioned models MPG 271QRX QD-OLED and MPG 321URX QD-OLED. We get a number of important improvements and fixes for several bugs.
The biggest change is adding control over DSC (Display Stream Compression), where the user can choose between DSC DLDSR and DSR in the monitor menu. And humanly? We get better image quality. In addition, the update includes optimizations reducing input lag.
In the case of MSI MPG 271QRX QD-OLED, the new firmware is also available mode switch between HDMI Console and HDMI PC, where the default is the latter. The MSI MPG 321URX QD-OLED model has gained an aspect ratio selection in the OSD. You can also finally turn off the switch backlight.
The manufacturer lists among the bugs fixed: eliminating image flickering when VRR is turned onlanguage corrections, gamut issues in HDR mode, or getting rid of the white line artifact in the MPG 271QRX QD-OLED monitor when using 2560 x 1440 @ 360 Hz resolution.
