Bank Pekao introduces a new feature in the PeoPay application. Interestingly, a similar service was previously available to the bank's youngest customers aged 6-12. Now adults receive it. It's about piggy banks.
Adult Pekao customers have just received a new product that helps them save for selected purposes. IN Piggy banks shared in the PeoPay application and on the website Pekao24 you can save money to implement your plans.
How does the Piggy Bank at Pekao work?
Piggy bank is a new product in the PeoPay application and the Pekao24 website, which allows you to: flexible saving of money for the chosen one objective. Bank Pekao customers can set up a Piggy Bank on their own in your applicationdefine its name, personalize it with graphics and avatars, set a savings goal, the amount of regular payments and the end date of the Piggy Bank.
The piggy bank can be powered in several ways – by setting it up standing order, then a specific amount will be regularly transferred to the Piggy Bank. There is also a possibility one-time payments, carried out by customers at any time. Piggy banks can be opened for a period of 1 month up to a maximum of 10 years. At the same time, customers can open up to one savings account 10 piggy banks.
Piggy banks have their own separate account number, thanks to which our loved ones can support us in saving by making transfers directly to the account of a given Piggy Bank. Piggy Bank holders can keep track of progress in achieving their goal and transaction history.
You can use a piggy bank break down at any time without loss of accrued interest. The funds accumulated there will be transferred to the savings account linked to the Piggy Bank.
Piggy banks with promotions
Fee for opening the Piggy Bank, maintaining it and making transfers is PLN 0. In addition, customers who open Piggy Banks do June 13will receive a promotional interest rate on the first 3 Piggy Banks – 3% per annum up to PLN 3,000, for 3 months from opening (92 days).
New customers can also take advantage of the “Open a selfie account and get a reward” promotion and receive bonus of PLN 200. All they need to do is open Konto Przerożne or Konto Świat Premium online by June 13, 2024, together with a debit card, PeoPay application and Pekao24 electronic banking, and perform at least: 5 card transactions to the account in the next three months after opening the account.
