Do you also have this problem with your bank account? Government agency warns
The scammers have apparently set their sights on one bank’s customers, specifically users of its app. That’s a very tasty morsel. The attack hasn’t ended. BNP Paribas is still under fire.
A week ago we warned about a wave of fake text messages that were trying to extort data from BNP Paribas bank users. This attack is not over yet. CSIRT KNF has just issued another warning.
Don’t worry, your account hasn’t expired at all
This is just a fake message from scammers. The GOMobile app does not expire at all. But scammers like to use such messages to cause panic and pressure to act quickly. The message warns about an expiring bank account in the BNP Paribas bank mobile application. The user is asked to verify the account. For this purpose, he receives linkwhich unfortunately has one goal – data theft.
Warning! Cybercriminals are sending fake text messages pretending to be @BNPParibas_PL.
In the content of the message they inform users about alleged problems with the application #GOmobile.

At first glance, the account verification link should raise suspicion. It contains a series of unorganized characters that are more associated with chaos than with the official website of the bank. If you receive such a message, in the case of any bank, not just BNP Paribas, refrain from clicking on the link. You can unknowingly bring trouble upon yourself. Instead, contact the bank directly and explain the whole situation.
