Disturbing news for Apple fans. iPhone 18 only in 2027

Nikkei Asia is behind these reports. According to their sources, Apple intends to postpone the premiere of some iPhone 18 models, a series that should normally debut this fall. Well, according to reports, only 3 models from this family are to appear in 2026. We are talking about a foldable iPhone and two models described as devices with larger screens and improved cameras. Most likely, we are talking about iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

Therefore, the basic model, i.e. iPhone 18, will debut only in 2027. It is worth emphasizing that during an interview for Reuters, Tim Cook admitted that sales of the 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max models exceeded all company estimates and increased by as much as 32%. For this reason, Apple does not have stocks of RAM modules, which it intends to obtain from other sources. This information seems to be combined into a logical whole.

However, it is worth remembering that they have not yet been officially confirmed. On the third hand, however, Reuters decided to verify these reports by sending an inquiry to Apple. Here, however, Apple did not decide to answer the question, which seems quite telling in this situation.
