Dino pozwoli robić zakupy w niedzielę. Znaleźli łebski sposób

Dino will allow shopping on Sunday. They found a smart way

Dino is launching a new type of store. These are unmanned and will operate 24/7. Interestingly, you can’t enter them.

Dino joins the retail chains that offer self-service stores. The first such facility was set up in Sośnicowice on Przemysłowa Street, right next to a traditional store. However, the automated Dino will work a bit differently, e.g. Żabka Nano stores — reports the Commercial News service.

Dino builds an unmanned shop

The new Dino store is fully robotic and works 24/7, including on holidays. Interestingly, the interior is completely dark. This is how the chain wants to save on electricity, among other things. Besides, the light is not needed anyway, because customers can’t get inside anyway. Order processing is handled entirely by special manipulators that serve goods from the shelves.

Inside there are only shelves with products and manipulators, whose task is to take products from the shelves and give them to the customer. These manipulators work in the dark. (…) Products can be stored at the temperature at which they like to be stored, not at the temperature that is comfortable for humans.

– says Michał Pajączek, president of HemiTech.

Thus, employees are not needed to serve customers. This does not mean that there will be none at all. They will still have to stock all products. However, the orders themselves are already on the side of the neural network, which itself is to decide on demand. If something is running low, the artificial intelligence itself will place an order in the warehouse.

The store was created in cooperation with companies from the Mago Group, namely: MGL and HemiTech, and the Silesian University of Technology. It is not yet known whether the chain plans to open more such outlets.
