The Taiwanese provide us with a monstrously powerful computer power supply. The possibilities are impressive, but this is not an option for ordinary eaters.

High-end computer components offer phenomenal performance in games and programs. Unfortunately, this often comes at the cost of high power consumption. That’s why a good power supply is so important, as it will ensure stable operation of even the top PC parts, enable overclocking and has a number of protections.

The suggested price is approximately PLN 2,049

During the January fair CES 2024 in Las Vegas (USA), the Taiwanese Cooler Master boasted a new line of power supplies up to 2800 W. It so happens that the first, slightly weaker models have just gone on sale. Independent reviews have also appeared online.

Cooler Master X Mighty Platinum is a fully modular power supply compliant with the standard ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.0. It uses a modern platform based on industrial grade parts. We have access to tracking operating parameters (load, temperature, etc.) from the operating system level. The whole is complemented by high efficiency up to 94% confirmed by a certificate 80 PLUS Platinum.

It was created mainly with… workstations for working with artificial intelligenceand thus we get here as much as two angled cables 12V-2×6 allowing you to simultaneously power more than one NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4000 graphics card or newer models in the future.

The power supply offers semi-passive operation mode. This means that up to 40% of the load is passively cooled, and up to 80% of the load I offer an operating culture below 30 dB(A). In other words it is very quiet.

Cooler Master X Mighty Platinum 2000 is already on sale abroad. The suggested price in China is 3,599 renminbi and in Australia it is $749. This gives us the equivalent approximately PLN 2,049. So far, you can’t find this model in Polish or even European stores.
