Contactless BLIK for iOS. Revolution is just around the corner
iPhone owners will soon be able to use a new payment method popular among Poles – contactless BLIK. Work on the implementation is already nearing completion.

BLIK contactless payments have gained popularity among Android users. You can use it in the six largest banksh in Poland. BLIK is intensifying its work to ensure the same standardApple ecosystem users.
Contactless BLIK on iOS devices
Soon too iOS device owners can expect contactless BLIK on their phones. According to Polski Standard Płatności, the BLIK operator, work on introducing the service is in progress advanced stage. The technology is here to stay made available to banksand the implementation process in applications is scheduled for next year.
The introduction of a new method is an effect EU pressure on the American giant. The agreement between the European Commission and Apple allows third-party service providers to access NFC payments. The Polish Payment Standard immediately took advantage of this, starting work on making BLIK available a few months ago.
We have an ambitious goal to be the first in Europe to introduce a solution that allows users to make payments both locally in Poland and within the global acceptance network. Thus, we are breaking another barrier, bringing us closer to the vision of a universal payment system available to everyone

The BLIK contactless payment service is very popular among users. Since its launch in 2021, it has been activated over 3.5 million people. The project was completed in the third quarter of this year 79.3 million operationsby 114 percent more than a year ago. The service is available in Alior Bank, Millennium, Santander, ING Bank Śląski, mBank and PKO BP banks.
Making this feature available too on iOS devices will enable the use of fast contactless paymentsh BLIK to an even larger group of people, which will certainly contribute to a further increase in the number of transactions.
