This project has been postponed many times over the years, and the presented materials were often criticized by fans of the series. However, all this had a positive effect, because the trailer released today is full of the atmosphere of Górnicza Dolina, or rather how many players remember it.

The game is scheduled to debut on June 5 this year. This plot will be the well-known story of the Nameless One, who will be sent to the penal colony in Górnicza Dolina. However, Alkimia Interactive, the creators of the game, will add numerous new threads, tasks and activities that will expand the world we know even more.

The title will offer Polish dubbing, and the voice of Jacek Mikołajczak, known from the original trilogy, will return to the role of the Nameless One. Of course, the voices of other characters may differ from those we know from years ago, but the main character we hear most often will remain unchanged.

Gothic 1 Remake will debut simultaneously on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Unfortunately, there is no information about the possible release of the game on Nintendo Switch 2. However, it is worth noting that only selected language versions will receive full dubbing, which coincides with the regions where the Gothic series has been most popular for years. These are also markets where Switch 2 does not have a very strong position compared to the competition.
