Biedronka will give you money for shopping. The rules are simple

From today (August 2), the second edition of the “eco-holidays with Biedronka” program is starting in the Biedronka chain of stores. Last year it was very popular and Jeronimo Martins is counting on breaking more records this year – informs Wiadomości Handlowe. What exactly is it about?

The campaign called “eco-holidays with Biedronka” is another edition of last year’s campaign. In the summer, beverage sales increase, so it is during this period that the chain organizes a collection of used bottles. Fromand for every 6 returned plastic packages, which may be of different capacity and come from different manufacturers, customers will receive a voucher of PLN 1 for their next purchases at Biedronka.

For this purpose, Biedronka will launch special points at the parking lots, which will be open from 11:00 to 19:00 every day from 2 August to 11 September. In total, they will appear in as many as 200 of the chain’s stores, which is twice as many as last year.

Last year, as part of the “eco-holidays with Biedronka” campaign, we collected over 102,000 plastic bottles, which translates into 2,500 kg of plastic that was properly managed. We are convinced that this year we will beat this result and reach tens of thousands of our customers with our campaign.

Importantly, the voucher can be used for subsequent purchases, as long as their value is PLN 1 higher than the voucher. The limit per person is 5 vouchers (30 bottles returned). Coupons are single-use and can be combined. They can be used for purchases until September 30, also in stores that do not collect used packaging.

For Biedronka, this may be a kind of preparation for the deposit system, which will come into effect on January 1, 2025. However, in this case, special devices for returning bottles will probably be installed in stores.
