BenQ ZOWIE has two monitors for high-level gamers
BenQ introduced new e-sports monitors from the ZOWIE XL-X series to Poland. They are distinguished by a dizzying screen refresh rate: 240 and 540 Hz.
The new models are the XL2546X with a screen refresh rate of 240 Hz and the XL2586X, with a refresh rate of 540 Hz. Both were equipped with 25-inch Fast-TN panels with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. Although gaming is associated with questionable aesthetics, here the designers focused on simplicity. These monitors can be safely placed in an elegant office or a modern living room without losing prestige points.
New ZOWIE monitors for e-Sports
ZOWIE XL2546X and XL2586X do not only refresh the image at a speed that takes hats off. These models are also equipped with the improved DyAc 2, a new double panel backlight, which is intended to ensure clear contours and clarity of objects in motion. Precise backlight control reduces blurring and smearing, and is relatively gentle on the eyes. Additionally, the XL2546X and XL2586X monitors effectively reduce the effect overshootwhich can occasionally be found on conventional panels when “overdriving” the liquid crystal.
XL Setting to Share software allows you to conveniently change color modes automatically without interrupting your gameplay. The Auto Game Mode included in it allows you to automatically adjust the screen colors to the currently displayed content. This way you don't have to go to the settings anymore – just play.
I mentioned that the design of the monitors is quite conservative, but that does not mean that it is not eye-catching. The new models look very interesting thanks to the new column design. The height is adjusted by a mechanism with industrial bearings. This makes it possible to set the monitor easily, precisely and – what is important in electronic sports – repeatably. Once you find your perfect screen position, you'll never lose it again. Of course, the monitor comes with side covers, which will be useful during tournament games.
There are sockets on the back DisplayPort 1.4, 3 HDMI 2.1 ports (in the higher model, one of them can work with a 540 Hz image), a socket for a wired S-Switch remote control and a jack socket for headphones. There is also a retractable headphone hanger on the back.
BenQ ZOWIE XL2546X is available in Poland at the suggested retail price PLN 2,449a XL2586X in price PLN 5,299. Both are covered by a 36-month warranty with door-to-door repairs.
