A good case and computer power supply should be the basis of every PC. Although they do not have a direct impact on the performance of games and programs such as the CPU or GPU, they do affect the temperatures and stability of the rest of the components. This has a significant impact on the durability of the equipment and work culture.

Of course, not everyone wants or can buy top-shelf solutions. Fortunately, there are manufacturers offering solid solutions at a reasonable price. One of them is German be quiet!which presented two new models – Pure Base 501 and Pure Power 12.

be quiet! Pure Base 501 is a series of housings Mid Tower with dimensions of 450 x 231 x 463 millimeters and a weight of 7.2 kilograms. We have three variants to choose from here – with an airy front and a side panel in the form of a window; with an airy front; built-up front. The first two extra in black and white color versions.

We can mount it inside motherboards in ATX, Micro ATX or Mini ITX format; graphics cards up to 368 millimeters long and CPU cooler no larger than 178 millimeters. There are seven places for data carriers (5x 2.5″ and 2x 3.5″). In terms of ventilation up to six fans will fit hereof which two units be quiet! Pure Wings 140 we get it already at the factory. Liquid cooling fans will fit 360mm and smaller radiators.

be quiet! Pure Power 12 in non-modular power supplies compliant with the standard ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1. They are based on single +12 V lines, LLC topology and DC-DC converters. As a result we achieve high efficiency up to 92.4% confirmed by a certificate 80 PLUS Gold. You can choose from models with power ranging from 550 to 1000 W. Of course, they are equipped with: 12V-2×6 connectors for the latest graphics cards.
