Audi has unveiled the most powerful car in its history
Audi decided to refresh the e-tron GT model. The new versions include a Performance variant, which is the fastest car in the history of the German brand.
The first Audi e-tron GT model debuted 3 years ago. Now the German company has decided to refresh it and present three new versions – each with even more horsepower under the hood and better batteries, which translates into better range.
Audi e-tron GT
The new, basic version of the Audi e-tron GT has 679 HP. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and the maximum speed is 245 km/h. The Audi e-tron GT RS variant is more powerful, with a power of 856 HP and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds. The maximum speed increases only by 5 km/h, so to 250 km/h.
However, the company has one more ace up its sleeve in the form of the Audi e-tron GT Performance version. This is the most powerful version of an electric sports car. This variant boasts a power of as much as 925 HP and acceleration to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds. At the same time, it is the fastest car in Audi’s history.
In addition, the appearance of the new Audi has been refreshed. We have redesigned bumpers, new aluminum rims and a slightly different grill. However, perhaps the biggest changes concern the batteries used. The charging power has increased from 270 to 320 kW, and the gross capacity is as much as 105 kWh. This means that the Audi e-tron GT in its basic version can travel just over 600 km. In turn, a suitably fast charger will allow you to replenish energy from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes.
Polish prices of the new Audi e-tron GT models are not known yet. Our western neighbors start from PLN 126,000. euro for the basic model and 160.5 thousand for the most powerful Audi e-tron GT Performance variant.
