ASUS has a freak. 4K resolution and… a phone holder
The ASUS ROG family is expanding with two new monitors equipped with Fast IPS matrices. This time we are talking about good specifications and reasonable prices.
There are more and more monitors aimed at gamers on the market. Just a moment ago we informed you about large, panoramic and curved models from companies such as iiyama Whether A.O.Cand now it's time for smaller and more classic proposals from ASUS.
There are two monitors to choose from – a 4K and 1440p model
The Taiwanese extended the family CORNER o two flat, 27-inch models based on Fast IPS matrices. They differ in resolution and refresh rate. Both, however, are equipped with a smartphone holder, which, according to the manufacturer, will allow for easy and convenient control of notifications and messages.
ASUS ROG Strix XG27ACS offers resolution 2560 x 1440 pixels and refresh rate up to 180 Hz. The reaction time (GtG) is 1 ms, and the contrast is 1000:1. Declared Coverage of the DCI-P3 color palette is 97%.
ASUS ROG Strix XG27UCS it's a resolution proposition 3840 x 2160 pixels and refresh rate up to 160 Hz. The response time and contrast remain unchanged, but the colors offered are slightly worse – 95% for DCI-P3.
The rest of the specifications of both monitors are common – support for image synchronization technology NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync or an I/O panel consisting of one HDMI 2.0, one DisplayPort 1.4 and USB Type C.
The first monitor has already gone on sale with a suggested price $269the second one will debut a little later in price $449. Unfortunately, in Europe it is, as usual, more expensive and ASUS ROG Strix XG27ACS is expensive approx. PLN 1,649.
