ASRock confirms the problem with AMD processors. The case is under investigation
Anyone who follows news from the world of new technologies is already well aware of this in the case of the AMD Ryzen 9000 series, there is something seriously wrong. There’s not a week that goes by that he doesn’t show up several reports of dead processors – sometimes even 5 cases a day. The situation occurs on boards from different manufacturers and affects different CPU models.
What’s worse, ASRock did not offer any advice to confused users. Owners of their motherboards with an AMD AM5 socket are asking on the Internet whether they should update the BIOS or go back to the old one? Is it safe to enable modes like PBO or AMD Expo? No answer.
On Reddit itself So far, there have been 327 cases of damaged processors on ASRock platforms. The most popular models dominate, i.e AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, Ryzen 7 9700X and Ryzen 5 9600X. In the case of records, the inglorious leader is in the lead X870E Nova WiFiand, and right after that there is B850 Steel Legend WiFi, B850I Lighting WiFi and X870 Pro RS WiFi.
