Apple M4 finally in more devices

Renowned technology reporter Mark Gurman reports that a new MacBook Pro, Mac mini, and iMac are set to go on sale this year, all with the new M4 processor. All of them would have a 10-core CPU and a 10-core GPU. There is also a fourth model with 8 cores on the CPU and GPU.

16 GB RAM already in the basic variant

These would be the first Apple computers with the M4 processor after the chip first debuted in the latest iPad Pro. According to Gruman’s report, Each of the new Macs would offer 16 GB of RAM in the lowest configurationwhich would be a big change from the current minimum of 8GB. Gruman adds that all of these models can have a maximum of 32GB of RAM, a leap from the M3, which had an upper limit of 24GB.

The source of the Bloomberg reporter’s reports are Apple’s developer logs, so it is a solid source, although the manufacturer may still ultimately change some configurations.
