If you’re still wondering whether it’s worth getting yourself a retro console, here’s a good argument for such a decision – Anbernic RG40XX H on sale.
Although Ambernic’s biggest hit is undoubtedly the RG35XX model, stylized as a classic Game Boy, it doesn’t mean that the Chinese manufacturer doesn’t have other tasty morsels in its portfolio.
Especially since the basic version of the RG35XX is not for everyone. Firstly, it lacks analog sticks, so it is not suitable for 3D games. Secondly, it has a relatively small screen, with a diagonal of just 3.5”.
But maybe that’s why it’s worth taking an interest in the RG40XX H model. This one effectively eliminates the shortcomings of its cousin, and is now also available at a very attractive price.
The Anbernic RG40XX H is based on the Allwinner H700 system and 1 GB of LPDDR4X memory, meaning it has exactly the same components as this year’s RG35XX. However, it adds two backlit analog sticks, a 4-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 640×480 px, built-in Wi-Fi and a larger 3200 mAh battery.
The manufacturer itself classifies the RG40XX H as a premium model, which is why it costs almost PLN 400, but not this time.
