Many productions with Christmas in the background have already been released on Netflix. Perfect time to watch them all. The platform’s latest offering is an unusual thriller set at an airport. Of course, on Christmas Eve.

When Christmas Eve becomes a nightmare

Merry Christmas? Not for the hero of Netflix’s latest movie, “Safety Check.” An engaging film about a security officer working at an airport who is blackmailed by a mysterious traveler has just been released on the platform. What’s interesting is that, like “Black Doves”the action of the thriller takes place during Christmas, and more specifically – Christmas Eve. Also, if you don’t know what to watch on one of the pre-Christmas evenings – maybe this will be a great choice.

“One bag, one life”

“Security Check” is an American action thriller directed by Jaume Collet-Sera. This is quite an unusual proposition from the streaming giant for the holidays. Christmas Eve takes on a slightly different dimension. It becomes the background for a clash between a young security guard (played by Taron Egerton, known from “Kingsman: The Secret Service”) and a mysterious passenger. It all starts with a traveler trying to smuggle a suspicious package onto the plane. We have here a whole range of typical action cinema tricks – tension, blackmail and unexpected plot twists.
