AMD Ryzen 9000 Now in Stores. Premiere Just Around the Corner
AMD fans can already count down the last few days until the premiere. New, efficient processors and laptops powered by the Reds’ systems will soon hit the market.
The attention of new technology enthusiasts has recently been focused on AMD. The Reds are preparing to launch two different series of processors – Ryzen AI 300 for laptops and Ryzen 9000 for desktop computers. Both based on newer and more efficient architecture AMD Zen5.
At launch we will get four different processors
AMD has not announced an official release date, but current rumors indicate that we will see the new CPUs in the following order: July 28 and 31. And it seems that nothing threatens the Americans’ plans. Photos have appeared on the web confirming that Ryzen 9000 series is already available in stores and distribution.
The new desktop family is expected to include four models – AMD Ryzen 5 9600X (6R/12W), Ryzen 7 9700X (8R/16W), Ryzen 9 9900X (12R/24W) and Ryzen 9950X (16R/32W). All of them are AMD AM5 compatible, so no need to buy new motherboards – just update the BIOS.

Leaks so far have shown that AMD Ryzen 9000 offers about 14% performance boost over AMD Ryzen 7000. The Reds significantly improved single-thread performance, even outperforming the 14th-generation Intel Core. However, it is the Blues that still offer better multi-threaded performance.

Players should remember that AMD has officially confirmed that its new chips will not be more efficient in games than the Ryzen 7000X3D series. These will be defeated at a later date, with the premiere of the family Ryzen 9000X3Dwhich is planned for autumn this year. Then we will also see the answer IntelThat is Lunar Lake.
