AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D hit the first stores. We know the prices
Are you waiting for AMD Ryzen 9000X3D processors? Then you can start saving now. The offers of the first stores in the USA suggest that it will not be cheap.
It is no longer any secret that AMD getting ready for the premiere of processors Ryzen 9000X3D for desktop computers. They will use architecture AMD Zen5 and TSMC lithography, but will be equipped with large memory 3D V-Cache. It is intended to bring a performance boost, mainly in games.
The cheapest AMD Ryzen 9000X3D will cost over PLN 2,000
The Reds are planning three different models – AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, Ryzen 9 9900X3D and Ryzen 9 9950X3D. The weakest variant will appear first and will offer us 8 cores and 16 threads clocked at 4.7 to 5.2 GHz and 104 MB of cache. All at TDP 120 W.
According to the latest information, the AMD Ryzen 9000X3D series will be presented October 25and it will be available in stores now November 7. The only unknown remained the prices, until now. Two American sellers – Bottom Line Telecommunications and Tech-America – have already added them to their offerings.
BTL prices the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D at $484, while TA prices it at $525. It gives us this approximately 1929 and 2090 zlotysPolish VAT should also be added. This is a lot, considering that AMD Ryzen 7 9700X currently costs around PLN 1,499 in Poland, and AMD Ryzen 9 9900X can be purchased for PLN 2,099.
Of course, there is always a chance that these are just “fillers” and/or an attempt to make money on impatient consumers. It is worth waiting for the final conclusions until the official presentation and the suggested prices, and preferably until the first independent performance tests.
