AMD is preparing new, cheap Ryzen 5000 processors
AMD's latest policy assumes hitting all price segments. In the case of cheaper units, we are talking about older solutions.
By how much Intel leads in terms of performance and introducing the latest technologies in the computer processor market, yes AMD offers much longer support. And it looks like the Reds haven't said the last word on the matter yet AM4 platform.
The AMD Ryzen 5000XT series is expected to be attractively priced
There are reports from the Chinese part of the Internet that AMD is planning to release new processors. However, these will not be models for the latest AM5 socket, but for the AM4 socket released in 2016.
The new processors are to bear markings AMD Ryzen 5000XT and based on architecture AMD Zen3. Unfortunately, there are no exact details yet on how many models we will see and what their specifications will be. However, it is worth remembering that the AMD Ryzen 3000XT series brought simply clock speeds higher by 100 – 200 MHz.
However, the Reds claim that new processors are expected to offer a good price-performance ratio. It makes sense considering that we are talking about older architecture and production process. For now, it is not known whether the AMD Ryzen 5000XT series will debut globally or will be limited only to the Chinese market.
