AMD zmienia plany w sprawie procesorów Ryzen 9000

AMD changes plans for Ryzen 9000 processors

Although there is little time left until the premiere, AMD cannot decide on the final specifications of the Ryzen 9000 series. However, there will be no final changes.

The premiere of the next processors is fast approaching AMD for desktop computers, i.e. family Ryzen 9000. The expected performance boost is significant due to the use of the new architecture AMD Zen5 with numerous improvements and a more modern production process TSMC.

AMD Ryzen 9000 is scheduled to launch on July 31

Despite everything, the Reds will continue to use the nest AMD AM5and so new CPUs will be supported by old motherboards. At launch we will get four different units – AMD Ryzen 5 9600X (6R/12W), Ryzen 7 9700X (8R/16W), Ryzen 9 9900X(12R/24W) and Ryzen 9950X (16R/32W).

Last week, there was information that AMD was considering changing the TDP for one of the lower-positioned models. According to them Ryzen 9 9700X instead of 65, would feature 120W TDP. This was supposedly dictated by too low gaming performance compared to the older AMD Ryzen 7000X3D series.

However, one of the industry’s trusted sources, Hoang Anh Phu, claims that The specification has not changed since the official announcement at Computex 2024. In other words, Ryzen 9 9700X will finally debut with a TDP of 65 W. Power consumption will therefore be small and temperatures low.

Of course, as always with rumors and leaks, this should be approached with a grain of salt. We’ll find out in a few weeks. AMD Ryzen 9000 is scheduled to launch on July 31.
